noticed that today, glad they finally did
Samsung is pushing this as 4k game of the week, so it should be 4k and not upcoverted. That would be some terrible marketing.
Good news they are finally catching up when they used to be the leader.
Should look better than FOX upconverting.
You both missed the point of a contract. 24 months keeps you as a paying subscriber for the other 8 months of the year. They would have to charge a lot more to not lose a lot of money on it. People...
streaming has no contract requirement, so that is a big change and the cost is high to keep it exclusively
the supposed cost is $1 per sub in ACC footprint and $.50 outside of ACC footprint
I bet Directv didn't want to pay that for everyone and only for the people who wanted it.
ACCN is a national channel. It's just like the SECN, you can watch it anywhere.
With all the issues At&t has, I would be surprised if they ever release a new box that doesn't stream. Satelite is dead in At&t's eyes and the investors want them to dump DYV. I would think there may...
we finally have somewhere reporting it, still nothing directly from DTV though
DirecTV will televise 11 Thursday night games in 4K ProFootballTalk
actually it is on the At&t site now, Watch 4K...
Good news
Looks like they agreed to a deal to keep it on until 9AM and then another one for X time. Looks like they both need it on. ESPN needs to cut all the talking heads and cut back on the amount they pay...
Southeastern Conference on Twitter:
looking more and more like they are going to pull them this weekend
Live sports are one of the main reasons people still have Directv. Take that away (most of college football in the south) and people will leave throughout the southern states.
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?
ESPN, ABC, and other Disney-owned channels could be pulled from DirecTV, U-Verse, and other ATT platforms as early as Friday night
Some say end of September and the...
I can't tell if it is just a ticket to 1 game or if you can go watch others while you are there. They are using the NFLST feeds, as why local teams aren't included. Not sure if they are just testing...
I don't think they have a clue. I wonder what is happening with the people in control. The 4k schedule doesn't list ND games, it only shows FOX/FS1 games for the last 2 weeks and 1 this coming Sat....
It can take up to 20 mins to reboot the wifi system, so I believe it to completely reboot everything
I can't find a schedule from At&t/Directv. It just links to the website about 4k. I was looking to see what college football games will be in 4k.
They made the changes, icon changed and added an annoying popup message.
I'm not saying they will or will not be blacked out, just that the local stations have the right to blackout the 4k broadcast if it comes from FOX. I hope FOX resolves it beforehand so it doesn't end...
You are mixing blackout rules. Local teams have channels that broadcast games and those blackout national channels.
This National FOX providing a 4K channel that is in direct competition with...
Well they have broadcast rights, so if its in 4k, they are broadcasting it.
Another provider has listed the games, so looks like it is real.
4K Live Sports and Events - Updated 7/19/2019 - AVS...
Yes, but that is just streaming. It's also not updated to include Fubotv. I doubt they would mention 4k streaming, but who knows.
They will continue to have 4 or more streaming things and confuse everyone
