That assumes those TLEs weren't out of date, and given how screwy TLEs for Directv satellites seem to be that's probably not a good assumption. It was supposed to reach its IOT location on June 29th, and do three weeks of testing, which would have it completing the testing and leaving 134 at the end of the week (though I guess we might not see that happening until the middle of the following week if TLEs are still delayed)

I can't remember if a filing is required when IOT is completed, if so we'd find out after the fact when that happened...

The FCC granted an STA for this request:

    Last Action: Grant of Authority

Description: DIRECTV Enterprises, LLC requests a grant of space station special temporary authority for 30 days to conduct in-orbit testing of the T16 satellite (S3039) at 134.75 W.L. and to drift the satellite to its requested permanent location of 100.85 W.L.

DirecTV seems to have been authorized to drift to 101.
Dear God, Please send clothes for all those poor ladies in Daddy's computer. Amen.

Directv made another filing related to T16, saying that it began drifting to 101 on the 23rd and is expected to reach it on or around Sept 4th.

The most recent TLE is from 7/23 and does not yet show any movement.
Whenever the next TLE is published maybe some assessment of movement can be made

    Finally an update to TLE
Position was 130.35 degrees west drifting ~ .8 degrees east/day
    Orbit 35716 x 35733 km
Simulation puts it at 101 right at 9/3 to 9/4 as FCC filing reported

Just for comparison Eutelsat 7C all electric impulse move to Geostationary orbit continues painfully slow trek.
    Orbit now ~ 40 days post launch is 5963 x 43243 km!!

Yeah at that rate T16 will be at 101 and T15 will be back at 103, each doing their thing, and Eutelsat 7C will still be chugging along trying to circularize its orbit.

Latest TLE still has T-16 moving westward at ~ .8 degrees per day.
Simulation has it at 100.85 degrees about 4AM tomorrow morning CDT

Should see some updates soon to confirm "on station" arrival of T-16

Again for comparison Eutelsat 7C and its "electric propulsion" is still trying to get to GSO
Latest TLE has it at 15,923 x 49,585 Km .4301092 eccentric orbit

Talk about a slow moving Train!!

Right on schedule, they said it would reach 101 on Sept 4th. I wonder how quickly they can/will cut over the 101 CONUS tpns from T15 to T16? If they are looking to move quickly they could have T15 back home and the new 103ca tpns lit up before the end of the month. Then we'll see how long it takes before Intelsat files with the FCC to begin "inclined orbit operation" for G3C, which will mean Directv is no longer using it at all.

Finally an Updated TLE with T16 nearly on station
    100.82 degrees 35,776 x 35,795 KM just a smidge out of it's box
Probably just needs fine tuning parameters on TLE. Likely it is at it's intended spot!
Also Eutelsat 7C chugging slowly at 16,441 x 49,520 Km

Next TLE update Epoch 252.6361 or just a couple of hours ago
    100.8379
    35,778 x 35795 Km
    Period 23 hrs 56 min 5 sec

This is close enough to set orbit to stop tracking
