    Greenville NC OTA data updated

Noticed tonight my Market has had its ota guide data updated.
All are now showing all available over the air channels and info for all channels
Only exception is WUND 2-1, 2-2, 2-3. They still show not data. However 2-4 does have data

That is part of a large OTA update this morning. 177 new OTA records affecting 24 local markets. I would be able to see them here in New Bern, if I had a OTA receiver.

WUND is in Edenton, (Chowan County) and will only be in the Norfolk DMA guide data. What is interesting is that they added data for channel 8.2, WFXIDT2, a station that is off the air, licensed surrendered, for the past two years.

What is really weird, is that the Norfolk DMA has WUND subchannels 2.1,2.2,2,3 and 2.5, the Greenville DMA has WUND subchannel 2.4! Go figure.

We use to have data for 2.1 2.2 2.3 but a few years back they were removed. Don’t know why they don’t include wund in the Greenville market. The tower is not far away and get a solid 100% signal here.

If I were you, I would add Norfolk as a secondary market. Your STB will ignore all the channels it can't get, just like it ignores 8.1 and 8.2, that no one can get. I assume you are close enough to WUND that you get better signals than from WUNK (25). Otherwise, what does it matter? On my TV tuner, I get WUNM and WUNK OTA, but WUNM is much closer, so it will be better when the leaves come back on the trees. All of the UNC stations carry the same programming.

I get a strong signal on WUNM 19 and WUNK 25. So not really a problem.
    They are missing 19.4 WUNM

Clearly they still have a few issues to iron out on this procedure

I hope they add 19.4 by the time I am able to get a LCC, I only started getting 25 when I recently moved my antenna, and it may not continue with leaves on the trees.

Looks like WITN is adding two new sub channels
    7.4 Start TV
    7.5 Heroes

Currently black screens hope Directv goes back and adds these two ota listings in the data base.
