This update is from last Wednesday so it includes Monday's report of OTA updates.
There are a few added OTA updates , total of 124 ch. for the week.
Not a lot else right now.
But as Tom Speer has called it "The Dance of the Satellites" now in full motion,
    Things should get interesting soon.

I remember when they placed the other 7 in service a month ago or whenever it was wondering why they only had done 7. Maybe they just screwed up, and when getting ready to plan how to allocate those 8 transponders realized they forgot one?

They really haven't placed any of them in service, yet. They just created Test or placeholder entries in the APG that point to those TIDs. The transponders aren't at 103 yet. When they first put Net 15, TID 0 to 6 in the APG, there wasn't even a NIT entry for them, which blew up the analysis program that creates the output above. When I wrote it, I never expected to find an APG entry that refers to a non-existent Net,TID index in the NIT. That required a hasty Wednesday morning fix. Later, they added the entries into the NIT, but the transponders aren't at 103, yet. The "placed into service" message is created for a Net,TID combination that had no APG entries last week, and now it does. Until now, we always had well defined NIT entries for satellites in position and ready to go, before there were any APG entries.

The only reason that we think we have the TPN numbers right, besides the fact that they make sense, is the signal strength numbers showing 0 on TPN 1-8 on the SS display for 103ca (Net 15).

Weekly Analysis of the 9/11/2019 Data

This is a normal one-week analysis. Therefore the 114 OTA updates announced by Doctor J earlier this week appear once again, along with some additional OTA updates.

The Alerts (update by 10/15/19 or lose your locals) for Eugene, Hartford and Providence are in today's data. These were first spotted by Doctor J and shared on 9/6/19.

The D15 sat is due to shuffle back to 103W within a very short time. Expect those records that show as D15/T16 today will soon all be sourced by T16.

    9/11 WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Those new PR records on 103ca TPN 8 are some of the channels that Puerto Rico currently gets via a SW2 spotbeam, the ones they added match PID for PID with SW2, TID 45

Bye, Bye SW2. I wish you happy retirement, again.

D15 to begin drift any day so T-16 should be the active 101 Satellite.
    Will confirm this soon.
No major changes on today's update
    Full report soon

Weekly Analysis of the 9/18/2019 Data

This is a normal one-week analysis.

It appears that D15 is beginning its trek to 103W, so we have decided to make the adjustments in the TPN Map this week, instead of waiting until next week. Today's data reflects all Ku NAT beams at 101W from T16. Ku Spot beams at 101W are all from D9S.

D15 does not appear with any in-service channels at this time, although there are many D15 offline and engr record channels pending and stacked up in the Hybrid tab. In the Network Decoder graphic, D15 is once again shown at 103W. NIT assignments are shown for TIDs 0 through 7 in 103CA. D15 may also soon appear with assignments in 103CR or 103CB. We can also expect that 103CA will also show up in Puerto Rico as shown on the Network Decoder.

D4S and D8 are no longer shown. We can also expect that SW2 @99S which is providing only 1 TPN to Puerto Rico is in line for retirement in the very near future.

You have a Version "A" Excel of today's TPN Map Excel because we needed to correct our Beam Table to properly reflect all the T16 NAT+PR Beams and the Network Decoder graphic required updating.

A streaming app for i24News is in test mode, which is now one of Cheddar's sister stations.
